The District Government

The Pueblo West Metropolitan District is comprised of dedicated employees who provide top-notch service for the community, and is supported by a team of administration professionals and a Board of Directors.  

Our Board of Directors is five elected officials voted for by the Pueblo West residents who each serve three year terms. The Board of Directors meet monthly on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 4pm.  

The Pueblo West Metropolitan District provides services in alignment with our approved service plan to include:

  • fire protection and emergency response
  • public works 
  • parks & recreation
  • community & neighborhood development
  • water & wastewater utilities
  • administration & support services

Proud to serve, Pueblo West Metropolitan District is the fastest growing community in Southern Colorado, serving over 31,000 residents, 50 square miles in size with over 400 miles of roadways. Pueblo West continues to grow because of our attractive dark night skies, Lake Pueblo, mountain views, horse trails and outdoor activities.
