The Pueblo West Parks and Recreation Department, partners with
the local district schools each year to collect canned and dry foods
to make Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets for Pueblo West
Family names are given to the Parks office by the schools. If you are
in need of a basket, you will need to contact the school counselor where
your child attends and talk with them to get on our list. Only families in
Pueblo West are eligible to receive a food basket.
The Parks office will not be accepting canned or dry foods this year due
to COVID-19. Instead if you would like to make a donation, we would welcome
if you were to donate a ham or a monetary donation instead.
The Pueblo West Parks and Recreation office will
only be accepting hams or monetary donations between the hours of 8 am to 2 pm through December 11.
