The City of Pueblo's Electric Utility Commission is comprised of regional partners including Pueblo West with the goal of providing a recommendation to officials from the City of Pueblo in determining the legal, financial, and operational feasibility for the future of electric utility service in the greater Pueblo area. Local residents have indicated that they are unhappy with the services they have received from Black Hills Energy. The commission's intent is to conduct research and community engagement to determine what is feasible for the future of electric utility service in the region, and ultimately make a recommendation to the City of Pueblo.
Pueblo West has both San Isabel Electric Association (SIEA) and Black Hills Energy customers. This affects Black Hills customers only.
