HALLOWEEN PHOTO GALLERY (Fall '09)

The Pueblo West Parks and Recreation department is pretty sure that this year's Halloween Bash was the best they ever had.
Having it outside this year, the weather was in the 70's, there were a ton of volunteers to help with the carnival games, and we
haven't seen the parents and kids both dress up in costume in a long time. Everything went as planned, except for the sound
system at the "pumpkin walk" (formerly known as the cake walk) we had to elaborate on voice skills to get the participants moving
and stopping on cue.
We took a chance and it paid off, we bagged up 650 front door goody bags and had 7 left at 4:30pm. Our 325th child through the front gates this year was 8 yr. old Nathan Morris. He won a basket full of little goodies that he can have fun with, including a gift certificate from S.T. Pour House. We hope you all had fun and enjoyed being outside this year. As for the costume contest, we didn't get the names of the age group winners, but we did post your pictures here and hope you enjoy your prizes also. Great job on your costumes.

We started at 2:30pm at the gates of the ballfield at Lovell Park. Kids kept coming in and coming in.
