The Memorial Recreation Building was established in 1971 and eventually became part of the Pueblo West Parks and Recreation facility. Located in the mobile home area at 230 E. George Dr., this landscaped area is 1.75 acres with many trees and grass area, an upgraded basketball court, picnic tables and grills, a paved parking lot in the front and back of the building. The building itself has meeting rooms, an office, furnished kitchen, washrooms, and is rented out for public use and the majority of our parks and recreation programs are held here.
