EXPANSION OF THE PUEBLO WEST LIBRARY

Why expand?
As part of the strategic planning process completed in June 2005, Pueblo West was identified as a growing community with inadequate library services. The Pueblo City-County Library District plans to expand Pueblo West's library and its services by 2009 to meet the growing demand. This means adding up to 23,000 sq. ft. to the current 5,000 sq. ft. building.

What will the new library include?
The proposed plan includes separate children and teens areas, two large meeting rooms, a reading garden and art gallery. This is in addition to all the things you would expect to see in a great library including collections of books, movies and music, and of course several cozy places to read. You can help build a legacy of literacy in Pueblo West.

We need your support to complete this project. With your generous contributions, we will make the new library a reality. There are several naming rights available and all donations more than $250 qualify for a special Enterprise Zone tax credit.
