2023 Proposed Budget
Each fiscal year, the Pueblo West Metropolitan District Finance Department, in cooperation with all Metro District departments and the Metro District Board of Directors, completes an annual budget to address the expected financial needs of the upcoming year.
The Proposed 2023 Annual Budget was sent to the Pueblo West Metropolitan Board of Directors for their review on Oct. 15, 2022. A final budget must be adopted by Dec. 31, 2022, incorporating Board of Directors' input.
Public comment about 2023 Proposed Budget
The Pueblo West Metropolitan District Board of Directors will hold a public hearing during their regular Board meeting on Monday, Nov. 14 at 5 p.m. at the Pueblo West Metropolitan District Public Works Office, 356 S. McCulloch Blvd., Board Room 103. (map). Citizens may submit comments about the budget in the following formats:
- Attend the meeting and provide public comment
- Submit public comment via email to the District Clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org .
- Call the Metro District Clerk at (719) 251-8723.
Any comments submitted via email or phone will be read aloud during the Nov. 14 public hearing.

Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports
Each year, Colorado state law requires that every general purpose local government conduct a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), commonly known as an annual financial audit. Independent auditors conduct the annual audit.
