At registration, you are given the information regarding the program you signed up for; where the class is, what time and the dates that the class will be, and if there is anything you need to bring. Consider all classes a "go" unless you hear from us. The only reason we might contact you would be if the class is canceled due to low enrollment, or if something came up regarding the teacher of the program.
Please call the Parks office at (719) 547-7400 and we can relay a message to the teacher. We do not give out the teacher's phone numbers but we can email them quickly for you and even have them call you back if you'd like.
We know that there are times when finances can be a struggle, especially if you have more than 1 child that you want to get into a program or class. We would be happy to take payments. Most of our classes run between 6-12 weeks and we can figure out a monthly payment for you. At present, our Karate and Dance instructors offer a multi-family discount too that will help. Please let us know if that might be your case, we don't want to turn anyone away because they can't paid the full price up front.
It's nice to know that you enjoy a program and come back each session. We do registrations this way because our teachers get paid for that particular period of time. Some people don't sign up again and some do, so it easier all around to know the instructors are paid for each of their sessions for those students that signed up for those class dates.
Most of our classes have a limited capacity, so it would be inappropriate to take early registrations and fill them up before the date stated on our flyers. We want to make it fair for everyone so that is why it's "first-come first-serve" on the Mondays when registrations open. Our online registrations open at 7:00am and follow the same dates for registering like our seasonal flyers state.
